Reporting is where data becomes a decision

Inviso builds the business-facing analytics layer: semantic models with consistent definitions, dashboards that get used, and the governance discipline that keeps reports trustworthy as the estate grows.

We deliver across Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, and on Azure Databricks where the data already lives. The platform follows the estate. The discipline stays the same.

Every engagement starts before the first dashboard. We work with your teams to understand the decisions they are trying to make, define the metrics that support them, and agree what each one means. Most reporting problems are definition problems, and they do not get solved inside the BI tool.

This work builds the foundation for AI-powered analytics.

Why choose Inviso for data analytics & reporting

Power BI tenant operations (capacity sizing, workspace governance, dataset refresh, and gateway operations) run on Azure managed services. Reporting builds here. The tenant runs there.

Platform follows the estate. We build reporting on Fabric, Power BI, or Databricks based on where your data already lives, not on what we prefer to deploy. Dashboards designed for adoption, not just delivery.

A direct path to AI-powered analytics when you’re ready. The semantic layer we build here is the one your AI agents will answer from.

We define the metrics before we build the reports. Analytics strategy, business analysis, and KPI definition are part of the engagement, not a prerequisite you need to arrive with.

PROOF IN APPROACH – HEALTHCARE

Automating hospital analytics with Power BI

A large public county hospital serving a California metro, recognized as a top performer on key quality measures, needed to automate dozens of reports its analysts were building by hand. To meet California’s PRIME and QIP program requirements, teams spent hours every day compiling daily and weekly reports in Excel: volume reports, labor-versus-budget reports, and payroll reports that required tight access control.

Inviso was brought in to build a fully automated Power BI solution. In addition to the build, we trained the hospital’s analysts on the new system as it was developed, so the team could maintain and extend the reporting themselves rather than depending on us.

The result: reporting that once consumed hours of analyst time every day now runs automatically, with human error engineered out and quality-measure reporting kept audit-ready.

Inviso built a fully automated solution across the Power BI ecosystem

FAQs

Owning Power BI and getting value from it are different problems. Most stalled deployments share the same gaps: inconsistent definitions, semantic models that don’t scale, and dashboards nobody trusts. We fix the foundation so reporting holds up as usage grows.

Most engagements start with a focused Power BI implementation that gets your team from zero (or stalled) to a working, governed reporting foundation: semantic model, priority dashboards, and the governance practices to keep them trustworthy.

Reporting builds here; the tenant runs on Azure Managed Services. Capacity sizing, workspace governance, dataset refresh, and gateway operations are delivered as ongoing managed operations so the reporting foundation stays healthy.

Yes. Microsoft Fabric connects to estates that include warehouses like Snowflake and Google BigQuery through shortcuts and mirroring, so reporting can span platforms without wholesale migration.

Yes, and it is where most engagements start. We work with your teams to understand the decisions you are trying to make, define the metrics that support them, and agree what each one means before anything gets built. Arriving without a defined metric set is normal, not a blocker.

Yes. Reporting and dashboards are delivered on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, and on Azure Databricks including AI/BI dashboards, depending on where the data lives and what the workload needs. The semantic discipline is the same either way.
