Data & platform engineering
Microsoft Fabric Featured Partner · Databricks Partner
Foundation first. Governance second. Intelligent data always.
Every AI investment depends on a governed, intelligent data estate. When AI fails, it’s usually because the data underneath it wasn’t ready.
Inviso builds that foundation. We move clients from passive storage and reporting to a data platform that ingests continuously, transforms with governance, and connects end-to-end. The work travels across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and Databricks. We choose the platform after the business need is clear, not before.
Data platform modernization

Ready to stop adding data without governance?
From historical reports to revenue-driving use cases
A retailer ran roughly 50 Power BI reports for several hundred users on a mix of Azure Synapse, Oracle, and Power BI. The stack supported historical reporting but was costly to operate, hard to evolve, and limited the use of transaction data beyond dashboards.
They moved to Microsoft Fabric, consolidating analytics and keeping Power BI as the reporting layer, to unlock new revenue use cases from data they already had.
Personalized recommendations
POS data trains ML models that suggest products in the mobile app based on purchase history, basket patterns, and seasonality.
The result:
More relevant suggestions, higher app engagement, and larger average basket size.
Targeted, measurable promotions
Models score customers to send coupons only where they’ll drive incremental spend, not subsidize purchases that would happen anyway.
The result:
Measurable promotional lift, less over-discounting, and clear data-to-revenue linkage.
FAQs
What is a data intelligence platform?
A data intelligence platform is a governed data estate that does more than store and report. It ingests continuously, transforms with governance, embeds quality, and connects end-to-end, so analytics and AI run on data the business can trust. Inviso builds these platforms on Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
Fabric or Databricks: how do you choose?
We choose after the business need is clear, not before. Microsoft-anchored estates usually land on Microsoft Fabric. Estates with advanced ML workloads, production model serving, or multi-cloud requirements often fit Databricks. Many clients run both, and the discipline travels across them.
Do we have to migrate everything to a new platform?
Not necessarily. Our first goal is to maximize what you already own. We often build governed layers on top of your existing estate, including integration with warehouses like Snowflake and Google BigQuery, and migrate workloads only where the current system is holding the business back.
What does the Azure Databricks Jumpstart cost?
The Jumpstart is a 4-week productized engagement delivered at $0 for eligible Azure clients through Azure Accelerate partner-led funding, for organizations that qualify. It’s designed to prove value on your data before you commit to a broader build.
How does Inviso handle data security and governance?
Governance is embedded in the build, not bolted on afterward: role-based access control, classification and labeling through Microsoft Purview, embedded data quality, and audit-ready lineage, aligned to your regulatory requirements.
